Attention moms, pull out your Pinterest ideas and put on your DIY hat.
If you’re a mom who loves to scrapbook, but hasn’t had the time, the 12-hour scrapbook crop may be for you.
The event, which will feature limited seating, will be held Sat., May 11, at Green Tree Christian Fellowship’s Family Life Center.
“We need people to RSVP as soon as they can,” said organizer Kristi Stamnes. “We’re limiting the numbers so that people have plenty of time to crop.”
Stamnes said the event is for anyone over the age of 15 who wants to scrapbook, but she does ask that there be no children.
“This way, moms can get that much-needed uninterrupted scrapbook time in,” she said.
The event is free, but participants are asked to bring a covered dish and their own supplies.
“We will have a couple of scrapbook vendors,” she said. “We’ll have door prizes and a grand prize.”
Stamnes said she wanted to host the event because she “loves to scrapbook.”
“I go off to different locations with friends,” she said. “That’s our time to get way. There are a lot of people who do it but don’t have time to do it. It will be a fun time for people to get together.”
T-shirts are available for $15. Deadline to order is April 19.
The event will run from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
“Come join us,” she said.
